Shipping policy

Shipping

Our shipping options are simple and affordable. Let us know if additional shipping options are important to you, and we will add services as demand warrants.

How We Ship

We ship orders throughout the week, with the exception of weekends and holidays. Shipping fees vary by item and can be viewed in your shopping cart once an item has been added.

Products are shipped through FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post, depending on the item. With Canada Post, we are able to ship anywhere within Canada.

For orders shipping with Canada Post and destined for remote areas within Canada, additional shipping fees may apply. If this is the case, we will contact you before shipping your order and before collecting any additional shipping charge.

We may cancel or be unable to ship an order because of inventory errors, pricing errors, payment or fraud verification issues, an undeliverable address, unavailable carrier service, or similar operational reasons.

All orders will ship within 1–2 business days from the store location in which the item is in stock. Orders placed outside business hours or on weekends will be processed the following business day.

Orders with billing and shipping addresses that are not the same may take longer to ship due to the additional time required for credit card verification and fraud prevention.

Free Shipping

baby enRoute will ship, for free, any regular-size order within Canada, subject to the exceptions below, with a minimum purchase value of $100 before taxes via Canadian Postal Service, Purolator, or FedEx Ground Service.

Oversize item surcharges will still apply to orders that otherwise qualify for free shipping.

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout and varies depending on your location and the size and weight of the merchandise purchased.

baby enRoute is not responsible for any additional brokerage, duty, or taxes that may apply.

Shipping Surcharges

Certain remote areas within Canada have limited delivery service, which results in higher shipping costs. We are unable to offer free shipping to these areas, but we do have competitive rates with Canada Post that you can take advantage of.

Once we receive your order, if a shipping surcharge applies, we will contact you with the surcharge before shipping your order and before collecting any additional shipping charge. We apologize in advance for any delays or inconvenience this may cause.

These exception areas include: Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Yukon, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories.

Tracking Your Order

Once you have completed your order online, a tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order has shipped. You can track your package online through FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post, so be sure to keep your tracking number in a safe place.

Backorder and Out of Stock Items

Our Backorder Program

If an item you ordered is currently on backorder or has become out of stock, you will be notified by email with an estimated availability date. You then have the option of waiting for the item to become available or cancelling it.

Our backorder program allows you to purchase items that are currently out of stock but will be available again. This allows you to reserve our best-selling items by purchasing them in advance before they arrive.

To reserve backorder items, we take payment for the item at the time the order is placed. This means all backorder items in your shopping cart will be charged to your account once you checkout. Shipping and taxes will also be charged at this time, so you will not have to pay any additional fees later for those items unless you separately approve a change.

When Will I Receive My Backorder Items?

Whenever a backorder item is purchased, we will provide you with an estimated shipping date. This estimate considers the time it takes for the item to become available and ship to us, as well as the time it takes for us to stock the items and process your order.

Please be aware that backorder dates are estimates and are subject to change. We do our best to notify you about backorder items whenever an update is available.

If your order consists of both in-stock and backorder items, we will reserve these items for you and ship your order in full as soon as your backorder item(s) arrive. Depending on the estimated arrival date for your backorder item(s), your in-stock items may be shipped to you first.

Return Shipping Costs

baby enRoute does not assume return shipping costs. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Customers may request a prepaid shipping label. The cost of the label will be deducted from the refund amount once the item has been received.

To request a prepaid label, email returns@babyenRoute.ca and include your order number and the reason for your return. Our returns department will process your request and reply within 2 business days with the shipping costs.

Customers may ship returns back using their own shipping method. For your protection, we recommend using Canada Post or insured parcel post and requesting a tracking number from the shipper for your records.

If a package is refused, there will be a $15.00 refusal fee plus our actual shipping costs, including freight to and from the customer.

All items must be returned to:
